- In a large mixing bowl, combine sweet rice flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually add warm water while stirring until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
- Pour the prepared dough into a steaming tray lined with parchment paper. Bring water to a boil in a steamer pot and carefully place the tray above the simmering water. Cover and steam for about 20 minutes.
- Once the dough is steamed, carefully remove the tray from the steamer and let it cool for about 5-10 minutes.
- Prepare a clean work surface by dusting it generously with cornstarch. Take a small portion of the mochi dough and flatten it into a circular shape. Place a peeled peach in the center, then gently fold the dough around it.
- Ensure that the mochi is tightly sealed around the peach. Gently roll the mochi in your hands to achieve a uniform round shape.
- Once all the mochi is shaped, place them into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
