- In a medium bowl, combine one can of drained tuna, one whisked egg, half a cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and a pinch of kosher salt. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty roughly ½ inch thick.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes. Add a tablespoon of salted butter and let it melt.
- Carefully place the patties into the skillet and fry for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip each patty over and cook for another 2–3 minutes until the second side is browned and crisp.
- Once cooked, remove the patties and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Serve warm.
