  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp salted butter for frying

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine one can of drained tuna, one whisked egg, half a cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and a pinch of kosher salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty roughly ½ inch thick.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes. Add a tablespoon of salted butter and let it melt.
  4. Carefully place the patties into the skillet and fry for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip each patty over and cook for another 2–3 minutes until the second side is browned and crisp.
  6. Once cooked, remove the patties and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Serve warm.
