  • 8-12 slices Black Forest Smoked Ham Or any quality deli ham
  • 6 slices Roth's Grand Cru Cheese Or Alpine-style cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Fig Butter Or any fruit preserve
  • 1 cup Micro Greens Arugula or spinach as alternatives
For the Mustard
  • 1 cup Whole Grain Mustard Store-bought if short on time
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Or maple syrup
For the Finishing Touches
  • 2 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning Substitute with a mix of poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder if necessary

Method
 

Make the Mustard
  1. Coarsely grind a mix of brown and yellow mustard seeds. Combine with apple cider vinegar, water, a pinch of salt, and honey in a jar. Shake well and let sit for 8 hours.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice croissants in half. Spread fig butter on the bottom, layer with Black Forest ham, cheese, micro greens, and mustard on the top.
Add the Finishing Touches
  1. Brush assembled sandwiches with honey and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top.
Bake
  1. Place sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
