Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas thoroughly with a fork until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the banana mixture, mixing well. Add vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in the sugar and beaten egg until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until no dry flour remains. Add chocolate chips.
  6. Carefully pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
