  • 2 cups Flamin’ Hot Cheetos crushed
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour gluten-free flour can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder substitute with onion powder if preferred
  • 2 large Eggs or flax eggs for a vegan alternative
For the Filling
  • 12 sticks Mozzarella String Cheese substitutes with cheddar or pepper jack are possible
For Garnish & Dipping
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley optional
  • 1 cup Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing for dipping

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting each mozzarella string cheese stick in half, giving you 24 smaller pieces for your Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Sticks.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, kosher salt, and garlic powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
  4. In the third bowl, crush the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into fine crumbs.
  5. One by one, dip each cheese stick into the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally roll it in the crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
  6. Lay the coated cheese sticks on a parchment-lined tray and place in the freezer for at least 1–2 hours.
  7. To fry, heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C) and fry in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For air frying, preheat to 390°F (200°C) and air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
