- Begin by cutting each mozzarella string cheese stick in half, giving you 24 smaller pieces for your Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Sticks.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, kosher salt, and garlic powder.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
- In the third bowl, crush the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into fine crumbs.
- One by one, dip each cheese stick into the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally roll it in the crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
- Lay the coated cheese sticks on a parchment-lined tray and place in the freezer for at least 1–2 hours.
- To fry, heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C) and fry in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- For air frying, preheat to 390°F (200°C) and air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
