- Begin by washing and peeling medium-sized carrots. Cut them into uniform pieces, roughly 1-inch long.
- In a large skillet, add a splash of water and place the prepared carrot pieces. Cover with a lid and heat over medium for about 5 minutes.
- Once tender, uncover the skillet and lower heat. Add the brown sugar, butter, and salt. Stir to coat evenly.
- Continue cooking over medium to medium-low heat, stirring frequently for 5 to 10 minutes, until the glaze thickens.
