  • 3 sprigs Fresh Mint Use dried mint in smaller amounts if fresh is unavailable

For Chilling
  • 2 cups Cold Water
  • as needed Ice Regular or flavored ice cubes

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil the Water: Pour 4 cups of fresh water into a saucepan and bring it to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Steep the Tea: Once boiling, remove from heat, add 3 green tea bags and 3 mint sprigs, cover, and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Sweeten the Brew: Remove tea bags and mint, stir in honey to taste while the brew is still warm.
  4. Combine with Cold Water and Ice: In a pitcher, add 1-2 cups of ice, pour in 2 cups of cold water, and mix gently.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Pour over ice in glasses; garnish with mint or lemon slice if desired.
