Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic cloves, lemon juice, paprika, dried oregano, and chili flakes. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Take a whole chicken, cut into pieces, and place it in a resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, seal the bag tightly, and massage the marinade into the chicken. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to a medium-high temperature, around 375°F (190°C). Allow about 10-15 minutes for it to heat up completely.
  4. Remove the marinated chicken from the bag, shake off excess marinade, and cook for 30-40 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Allow the chicken to rest for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
  6. Arrange the chicken pieces on a serving platter and garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
