Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin your Pepperoncini Chicken Skillet by cutting chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Season the cubed chicken generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of the seasoned chicken cubes, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chopped yellow onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until aromatic.
  4. Pour the reserved pepperoncini juice, chopped pepperoncini peppers, low-sodium chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes into the skillet. Stir and simmer for around 5 minutes.
