Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into ¾-inch thick rounds.
  3. Combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Brush both sides of each cabbage round with the seasoning mixture.
  5. Place the seasoned cabbage steaks on the baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. For an air fryer option, cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving and add optional toppings if desired.
