Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your muffin tin.
  2. Mash 2-3 ripe bananas in a medium mixing bowl until slightly lumpy.
  3. Combine melted butter with mashed bananas, add salt and sugar, then mix in one beaten egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in 1.5 cups of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking soda until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into each muffin cup, filling halfway and creating a small well in the center.
  6. Warm Nutella for 10-15 seconds and drop 1 teaspoon into each muffin well.
  7. Using a toothpick, gently swirl the Nutella into the batter.
  8. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
