Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring 2 cups of salted water to a boil in a large saucepan. Once boiling, add the fresh broccoli florets and cook for 2-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same saucepan, reduce heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Melt completely, then add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Return the drained broccoli to the saucepan and gently toss with the garlic butter for 1-2 minutes to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese over the warm broccoli, tossing gently until the cheese slightly melts. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately for best flavor and appearance.
