  • 4 pieces Sweet Potatoes 200-250g each
For the Miso Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Brown Miso preferably unpasteurized
  • 2 tablespoons Softened Butter ghee or dairy-free butter can substitute
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely diced; omit if sensitive
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha adjust to taste
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds black or white, can substitute with chia or pumpkin seeds
Optional Side Salad
  • 2 cups Arugula dress with olive oil and lemon juice
  • 2 cups Wild Rocket

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and grease a baking tray.
  2. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly, cut away damaged spots, and lay them on the greased tray.
  3. Bake the sweet potatoes for about 30 minutes until tender.
  4. In a food processor, blend softened butter, brown miso, garlic, and Sriracha until smooth.
  5. Make a slit in each sweet potato and fill with the miso butter while hot.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve warm, optionally paired with a side salad.
