Ingredients

Pasta
  • 8 oz Pasta Choose elbow, penne, or rotini for the best texture; whole wheat is a healthier choice.
Meat
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Provides hearty protein and flavor; ground turkey offers a leaner alternative.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Used for cooking the beef; can be replaced with vegetable oil for a milder taste.
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Infuses rich flavor; use fresh onions for a more vibrant taste.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Enhances taste; fresh garlic can be added for a bolder kick.
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked Paprika Adds a subtle smokiness; regular paprika works as a substitute.
  • Salt and Pepper Season to your preference for a classic cheeseburger flavor.
Sauce
  • 1.5 cups Alfredo Sauce Creamy sauce base; homemade brings the best flavor, but store-bought is fine.
Cheeses
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Offers creaminess and depth; sharp cheddar intensifies flavor.
  • 0.5 cup Mozzarella Cheese Optional; boosts meltiness; skip for fewer calories.
Toppings
  • 4 slices Crumbled Bacon Introduces crunch and umami; turkey bacon can be used for a lighter version.
  • 0.33 cup Diced Dill Pickles Delivers a tangy crunch that reflects classic cheeseburger toppings.
  • Optional Toppings Chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce add freshness and mimic a traditional burger.

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add your choice of pasta and cook until al dente, typically 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart; cook for about 5–7 minutes, or until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika, and salt and pepper over the beef. Stir to coat, cooking for about 1 minute.
  4. Reduce skillet heat to low and pour in 1½ cups of Alfredo sauce. Stir well, warming through for 2–3 minutes without boiling.
  5. Carefully add the drained pasta into the skillet, folding it into the beef and sauce. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar and ½ cup of mozzarella. Cook for 2–3 minutes until cheeses melt.
  6. Remove from heat and top with 4 slices of crumbled bacon and ⅓ cup of diced dill pickles. Add optional toppings if desired.
  7. Spoon into warm bowls and serve immediately while hot, alongside garlic bread or a side salad.
