Preparation Steps
- Unwrap the cream cheese and freeze for about 10 minutes to enhance the smoky flavor.
- Cut the block of cream cheese in half horizontally and sprinkle with your chosen dry rub.
- Make shallow slits on the top of each half for better smoke penetration.
- Preheat the smoker to 200°F.
- Smoke the cheese for about 1 hour until soft and slightly firmer at the edges.
- Remove and let rest for a few minutes before serving with dippers.
