  • 12 count mini croissants or regular croissants
  • 12 slices smoked deli ham can substitute with turkey or chicken
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese Gruyère or cheddar as alternatives
  • 1 count egg white or a full egg
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds omit if not available

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix unsalted butter, Dijon mustard, chopped green onions, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Slice each mini croissant in half lengthwise and spread the Dijon-honey butter mixture on both halves.
  4. Load each buttered croissant half with a slice of smoked deli ham and a slice of Swiss cheese, then arrange in the baking dish.
  5. Whisk the egg white with a splash of water and brush over the croissants; optionally sprinkle with poppy seeds.
