  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Milk Adjust for consistency

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, black cocoa, crushed Oreos, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with wet mixture.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough into ½ cup balls and place them on baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until slightly underdone in the center. Allow cooling for 20 minutes.
  7. In a medium bowl, whip together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla for frosting until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and milk for consistency.
  8. Frost cooled cookies and decorate with additional crushed Oreos if desired.
