- Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and boil. Cook the bowtie pasta for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 4-5 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Pour in beef broth, scraping browned bits off the skillet. Add red pepper flakes, season, and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
