  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Ripe tomatoes are best
  • 1 ball Burrata Fresh mozzarella can be used as substitute
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt Using flaky sea salt gives a gourmet touch
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper Freshly cracked is preferred
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Optional; parsley can be used as a substitute
For the Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar Balsamic glaze can substitute for extra sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil Choose high-quality for the best flavor

Equipment

  • Shallow bowls or large platter

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare your serving dishes, either shallow bowls or a large platter. Rinse the fresh arugula under cold water and fill the bottom of your dishes generously.
  2. Wash and slice your cherry tomatoes; some can remain whole while others should be halved. Scatter these atop the arugula.
  3. Gently place a ball of burrata onto the center of the arugula bed. Make sure the burrata is fresh and at room temperature.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt and black pepper over the salad, focusing on the burrata.
  5. Drizzle high-quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad, allowing the dressing to cascade over the greens and cheese.
  6. Tear fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them on top. Serve your salad immediately.
