  • 1 ounce Freeze-Dried Strawberries crushed into powder
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, then blend in vanilla extract.
  2. Gradually add all-purpose flour and mix until just combined.
  3. Crush the freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder and fold into the dough.
  4. Shape dough into a log or roll out and chill for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Slice log or cut shapes from rolled dough. Bake for 18-22 minutes.
  6. Cool cookies on a baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  8. Drizzle or dip cooled cookies in glaze and let set.
