Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and dust a clean surface with flour. Roll out the puff pastry into a thin rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the surface of the puff pastry. Layer diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese evenly.
  3. Roll the puff pastry tightly into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for about 30 minutes.
  4. Slice the log into approximately 1-inch pinwheels with a sharp knife.
  5. Arrange pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow pinwheels to cool for a few minutes before serving.
