Ingredients

  • 6 leaves Fresh Mint Gently muddled.
  • 30 ml Clear Apple Juice For sweetness.
  • 20 ml Fresh Lime Juice Always freshly squeezed.
  • 15 ml Elderflower Cordial Optional, enhances flavor.
For the Fizz
  • 40 ml Chilled Schweppes Soda Water Provides fizz.
For the Presentation
  • 1 cup Crushed Ice Consider using heart-shaped ice.
  • 1 sprig Mint For garnishing.

Method
 

Making the Mojito
  1. Muddle the mint leaves gently at the bottom of the glass for about 10-15 seconds.
  2. Mix in apple juice, lime juice, and elderflower cordial. Stir gently for 5-10 seconds.
  3. Add crushed ice, packing it lightly to about three-quarters full.
  4. Stir the mixture gently to combine all flavors, about 10-15 seconds.
  5. Top with chilled Schweppes Soda Water carefully to maintain fizziness.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of mint and serve immediately.
