- If using frozen green beans, begin by thawing and draining excess water. For fresh green beans, trim the ends and blanch in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. If using canned, drain well. Set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, whole milk, and soy sauce. Whisk until smooth.
- Gently fold the prepared green beans into the creamy mixture along with crispy fried onions and ground black pepper. Avoid mashing the beans.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x9-inch baking dish and bake for about 25 minutes until bubbling.
- After 25 minutes, stir gently, then top with remaining crispy fried onions and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
