  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce choose gluten-free if needed
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar or honey as a substitute
  • 1 cup Broth vegetable broth works well
For the Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 2 stalks Green Onions sliced

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Rinse the white fish fillets gently under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Place the fillets on a heatproof plate suitable for steaming.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together minced garlic, sliced Thai chilies, lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and broth.
  4. Pour the sauce over the fish fillets and marinate briefly for about 15 minutes.
  5. Prepare your steamer by filling it with water and bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  6. Place the fish inside the steamer and cover, letting it steam for 10 to 12 minutes.
  7. Drizzle remaining sauce over the fish, garnish with cilantro and green onions, and serve.
