  • 2 cups Coleslaw Mix Cabbage and carrots

  • ¼ cup Mirin Sweet Japanese rice wine
  • ¼ cup Dark Soy Sauce Rich flavor for umami
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • to taste Sriracha Optional for heat

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook LoMein noodles according to package instructions, about 4–5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Heat peanut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and ¼ cup sliced green onions, cooking for about 5–6 minutes until fully cooked and browned.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together chicken broth, mirin, dark soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Add sriracha if desired.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and coleslaw mix to the skillet with pork. Pour the prepared sauce over everything and stir gently to combine.
  5. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld and sauce to coat noodles and veggies. Serve in bowls garnished with remaining green onions.
