- Whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
- Combine ½ cup of melted unsalted butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 cup of buttermilk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
