  • 1 cup Carrots Chopped; consider using bell peppers or cucumbers.
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Any vibrant color.
For the Wraps
  • 8 leaves Lettuce Leaves Butter or romaine; iceberg is a sturdy alternative.

Preparation Steps
  1. Mix your marinade by combining minced garlic, diced onion, and spices in a bowl. Coat the flap steak thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  2. Prepare the sweet date vinaigrette by blending pitted dates, vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C) 15 minutes before cooking.
  4. Grill the marinated flap steak for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway, until it reaches medium-rare doneness.
  5. Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
  6. Assemble the wraps by placing sliced steak in lettuce leaves with veggies and drizzling the vinaigrette on top.
