Ingredients

For the Wrap
  • 1 cup Cooked Chicken Breast Grilled or shredded
  • 1 medium Avocado
  • 2 cups Fresh Vegetables e.g., lettuce, tomatoes, bell peppers
  • 2 pieces Tortilla Whole wheat or regular
For the Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Or lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Dressing Optional; e.g., ranch, vinaigrette

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Microwave
  • Knife
  • cutting board

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by grilling or sautéing the cooked chicken breast over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes until fully heated through and slightly golden. If using fresh chicken, ensure it's cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F. Once done, let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  2. In a dry skillet over low heat, gently place the tortillas and heat each side for about 30 seconds until they are soft and pliable. Alternatively, you can microwave them for 15-20 seconds.
  3. Take a warm tortilla and spread a generous layer of creamy avocado over the surface. Layer the sliced grilled chicken on top, followed by fresh vegetables. Drizzle with lime juice and your favorite dressing.
  4. Start from one end, fold the tortilla over the filling, and tuck it in tightly, rolling until you reach the other end. Slice the wrap in half if desired.
