  • 2 large Eggs whisked
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs

  • 2 inches Avocado Oil for frying

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by cutting your block of mozzarella into thick sticks, aiming for about 3 inches long and ½ inch thick.
  2. Set up your breading station by arranging three shallow bowls: flour, whisked eggs, and a mixture of panko and plain breadcrumbs with spices.
  3. Bread each stick by coating it in flour, then eggs, and finally breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb dips.
  4. Freeze the breaded mozzarella sticks on a parchment-lined tray for about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Fry the mozzarella sticks in small batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown; use a slotted spoon to remove them.
  7. Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in the spices and sugar to create the spicy glaze.
  8. Dip the fried mozzarella sticks in the hot glaze before serving warm on a platter.
