  • 1 large Egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
For Frying
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil any neutral oil like canola can be used
Honey Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce use low-sodium for a lighter option
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic fresh
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions

Cooking Steps
  1. Start by cutting boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Set up your breading station by beating an egg in a shallow bowl and placing cornstarch in another dish.
  4. Coat each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg, and finally roll in cornstarch.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the breaded chicken pieces in batches for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Transfer fried chicken onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic over low heat.
  9. Add the fried chicken into a bowl and pour the honey sauce over it, tossing to coat.
  10. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
