  • 2 teaspoons White Pepper Powder Key to seasoning profile.
  • 1/8 teaspoon Five-Spice Powder Adds warmth and flavor.
For Garnishing
  • as needed Basil Fresh or dried nori sheets.
  • 1 whole Lemon Wedges For brightness.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine boneless skinless chicken thighs with vegetable oil, grated garlic, ginger, brown sugar, and salt. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the spice mix by combining white pepper powder, additional salt, brown sugar, and five-spice powder in a small bowl and mix well.
  3. After marinating, coat the chicken with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (176°C). Cook coated chicken for 10 minutes, flip, spray oil, and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 5 more minutes.
  5. Toss cooked chicken with half of the spice mix. Garnish with basil and hot peppers, and serve with lemon wedges.
