- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool.
- Rinse the pasta under cold water to stop the cooking process and cool it down, then let it sit to drain excess water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls and toss gently.
- Add cooled pasta to the bowl with tomatoes and mozzarella, folding gently to combine.
- Finely slice the fresh basil into ribbons and add to the bowl. Gently toss to distribute.
- Whisk together olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper in a separate bowl.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
