- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a mini muffin tin.
- Combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half. Press each triangle into the cups of the muffin tin.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each prepared dough cup, then add another teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
- Optionally, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest over the cranberry sauce.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes, until the crescent dough is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the tins for 5 minutes before serving warm.
