Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar with cinnamon for the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F and coat a baking pan with cooking spray, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Roll out one can of crescent dough and place it in the prepared pan.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough in the pan.
  6. Roll out the second can of crescent dough and place it over the cream cheese filling, then sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and edges are bubbly.
  8. Let the pan cool completely before slicing into squares.
