Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Croissant Muffin
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a standard muffin pan or line with paper liners.
  2. Roll out two sheets of thawed puff pastry to a rectangle approximately ¼ inch thick.
  3. Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl and set aside 4 tablespoons for later.
  4. Spread softened butter evenly on the pastry sheets and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Layer the remaining pastry sheets on top and cut into 6 strips. Roll each strip into a spiral.
  6. Place rolled strips into the muffin cups with seam-side down.
