  • 1 tsp vanilla extract for cream cheese layer
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar for batter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk any type, including almond milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 to 1.5 cups blueberries coated in flour if frozen
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract for batter

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy for 2-3 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and milk, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture.
  4. Gently fold in blueberries, being careful not to crush them.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan. Pour half of the batter, add cream cheese mixture, top with remaining batter and swirl.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
