Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the Italian sub rolls lengthwise, keeping one side hinged, and place them cut side up on a baking sheet.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter and mix in the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the seasoned butter mixture onto the cut sides of the rolls.
  5. Layer the deli-sliced salami, ham, and pepperoni on the bottom halves of the rolls, followed by mozzarella and provolone cheeses.
  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and add roasted red peppers, black olives, banana peppers, and fresh basil leaves on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Let the sandwiches cool for about a minute, cut into servings, and enjoy warm.
